The challenge
How to support staff as they underwent a big a change to their working environment.
The approach
For many of the staff involved this was a stressful and emotional change of working environment from traditional desks to ‘hot-desking’ and collaboration zones. We developed storyboards in an iterative fashion getting regular feedback from key stakeholders and testing with staff about the key messages to communicate about the future state.
The outcome
The storyboards were a key tool to help communicate the new behaviours associated with transitioning to the future working space. They were introduced within team meetings and also displayed on information boards for discussion purposes.
