I'm a Service Designer living in Wellington, the capital city of Aotearoa | New Zealand.
Service Design is all about developing and delivering great services that people find usable, easy to navigate and want to keep coming back to. To make great services you have to be user-centered and have an in-depth understanding of your customers. This means lots of research to understand and gain insight into their likes, dislikes, pain-points, behaviours and needs.
The approach that I use most often in my work is the Double Diamond developed by the UK Design Council. It helps ensure divergent and convergent thinking is embedded within the design process and provides different tools to communicate the intangibles associated with people’s experiences using distinct design phases.
If you’re looking to understand how people experience your service and create alignment between your organisation and your customers then I’m your man. I bring my user-centered mindset and skills along with my background in Business Analysis to ensure that customer needs are balanced with business outcomes.
